How to Tell if the Plastic Spill Pallet is Good or Bad?

01 Look at the situation of Spill Pallet manufacturers first. Is it professional? Is there any technology for design, production, and product development? Is there a professional certification report? The reports of the US Environmental Protection Agency EPA and the US Spill Prevention and Control Act SPCC are sufficiently authoritative and professional to conduct inspections based on this. Spill Pallet, which has not been tested and time-tested, is unreliable.

02 Look at the strength of the product again. Obviously, a product that is thin and swaying when people step on it cannot withstand the pressure of a full load of 4 oil drums. Deformation then occurs, and cracking is inevitable. Some products have relatively high temperature in summer and good strength, but in winter, they will not work. This is related to the materials used, and also shows that his structural design and processing technology are unreasonable.
03 Look at chemical resistance. Different materials have different chemical resistance. Unreasonable design and unreasonable processing technology will cause some stress concentration, chemicals will accelerate the propagation of cracks, and the overall crack of the tray will not be far away. Some trays quickly corroded and cracked after putting some high-concentration chemicals such as sulfuric acid. A good pallet is not like this.

04 Leakage volume is a very important concept. Some manufacturers just think that they are making 2-barrel pallets or 4-barrel pallets, which are about the same height as others, so they copy the leakage volume of others, which is unambiguous at all. In fact, due to the different product structure, the amount of leakage will be very different from what he said, there is a lot of water in what he said! Look at the huge forklift trough inside the leakage trough, and then look at other people’s leakage troughs are open, you know that the amount of leakage is really different, although the external dimensions are all the same.
05 Look at product design again. A perfectly designed Spill Pallet must follow the principle of placing the oil drum, that is, the oil drum is placed a bit inclined to prevent the water on the lid of the oil drum from being sucked into the drum. Therefore, a good Spill Pallet should have four corners on the four sides slightly higher than the middle part, so as to achieve this slight inclination. You no longer need to put a wooden block under the oil drum.

06 The grille should be high, non-slip, and easy to replace. The huge hole on it is an insecure factor. The position of the grille should be fixed and cannot slide in the tray. Therefore, the position of the fixed grille should be considered in the design of the tray. It is not safe for the grille to slide freely in the tray slot. The two grilles have their own responsibilities, so just do their responsibilities within their own limits.

07 The location of the drain plug and the practice of the drain plug. The function of the drain plug is to drain the leaked liquid, and it is best to drain all the leaked liquid. If the position is improper or due to the unreasonable design of the internal structure of the tray, the drain plug cannot drain all the liquid or can only drain a limited amount of liquid or does not drain at all, it means that the drainage is not done well! Please pay attention to the drainage position!

The drain plug is part of Spill Pallet. The drain plug is considered to be added. If the drain plug cannot be integrated with the tray, the drain plug may fall out. The structure and manufacturing process of the drain plug are very important to the overall quality of the tray.
08 Look at the color of the product again. Yellow is a warning color, far better than black. Black pallets may also use plastic recycled materials (recycled materials), their strength and chemical resistance are reduced, and their quality is unreliable. Yellow products are difficult to add back material, otherwise there will be impurities and black spots on the surface. This also requires attention.

09 Don't simply compare prices. Cost-effectiveness, service, and brand are always the most important. The price of Spill Pallet itself is not high, and you can't lose big because of small.
