. . . . . . .
Laboratory bleeding and casualties continue to remind us: laboratory safety should not be ignored! Catch the thief first, let us start with the safety of the chemical laboratory, the hardest-hit area of laboratory safety hazards:

The most common safety hazards in chemical laboratories are chemicals with different properties and a wide variety of chemicals, taking corrosive chemicals as an example.

1. Procurement of chemical drugs
●All chemicals must be purchased through the formal chemical procurement management platform.

●No one may purchase or transfer hazardous chemicals without authorization.

●Controlled chemicals such as precursors to drugs and explosives are not allowed to be purchased outside the system.

●After submitting an order for precursor and explosive drugs on the chemical platform, the purchase of precursor chemicals must also be submitted offline purchase and sales contracts and purchase applications, and the purchase of precursor chemicals must also be submitted offline purchase and sales contracts and instructions for use.

●Strictly follow the procurement requirements, and the amount of hazardous chemicals purchased each time cannot exceed the laboratory's one-week experimental dosage.

2. Chemicals storage

●After purchasing precursor chemicals and explosives, they must register at the inspection center designated by the school before they can receive them to the laboratory.

●All chemical packages should have chemical labels that comply with the regulations, and prevent the labels from falling off, blurred, incomplete or unclear and other chaotic phenomena.

●All kinds of chemicals must be stored in the special reagent storage room and storage cabinet in the laboratory. The chemical storage place should be set up in a clean, ventilated, insulated, and away from fire and heat sources.

●A large amount of chemical reagents should not be stored in the laboratory, especially a large amount of flammable and explosive materials and strong oxidants are strictly prohibited. Chemicals should be sealed, classified and stored reasonably. Do not store incompatible chemicals that interact violently. Mixed.

●Laboratories must establish and update chemical accounts in a timely manner, and clean up unnamed, waste, and expired chemicals in a timely manner.

●Hazardous chemicals should be strictly classified and stored. Specific requirements are as follows:

(1) Currently schools do not allow the purchase of highly toxic chemicals; precursor chemicals and explosives are subject to "five-double" management such as double-double locks; explosives must be isolated separately and stored in limited quantities; narcotics and psychotropic drugs must be stored in For special safes, the above chemicals must be recorded in and out of the warehouse.
(2) Explosive products should be stored separately from flammable products and oxidants, and should be stored below 20°C. They should be stored in explosion-proof reagent cabinets, explosion-proof refrigerators, or refrigerators with explosion-proof modifications.
(3) Corrosive products should be placed in the lower layer of the anti-corrosion reagent cabinet, or placed in the lower layer of the ordinary reagent cabinet lined with anti-corrosion trays.
(4) Reducing agents, organic substances, etc. cannot be mixed with oxidants, sulfuric acid, and nitric acid.
(5) Strong acids (such as sulfuric acid) should not be mixed with strong oxidizing salts (such as potassium permanganate, potassium chlorate, etc.); salts that can produce harmful gases when encountering acids (such as potassium cyanide, sodium sulfide, sodium nitrite, etc.) Sodium chloride, sodium sulfite, etc.) can not be mixed with acid.
(6) Chemicals that are prone to produce toxic gases (smoke) or unpleasant irritating odors should be placed in a reagent cabinet equipped with ventilation and absorption devices.
(7) Alkali metals such as sodium and lithium should be stored in kerosene; yellow phosphorus and mercury should be stored in water.
(8) Drugs that are easily hydrolyzed (such as acetic anhydride, acetyl chloride, thionyl chloride, etc.) cannot be mixed with aqueous solutions, acids, alkalis, etc.
(9) Halogens (fluorine, chlorine, bromine, iodine) cannot be mixed with ammonia, acid and organic matter.
(10) Ammonia cannot be mixed with halogen, mercury, hypochlorous acid, acid, etc.

3. SYSBEL Corrosive Cabinets Features:
(1) Standardized warning label of corrosive chemical storage cabinets is highly visible and anti-corrosive;
(2) Durable&chemical resistant, lead-free powder coat inside and outside, cabinet, reduce effects of corrosion and humidity;
(3) 2 inches vents with integral flame arresters in both sides of every cabinet;
(4) In terms of OSHA, on outside side panel, there is built-in grounding static connector for easy grounding.
