In summer, when the high temperature strikes, the warehouse should be equipped with a water storage roof or a cooling water pipe on the warehouse roof. When the temperature is above 30°C, water should be sprayed to cool down to keep the temperature in the warehouse below 28°C. Laying stone sacks on the roof of the warehouse can increase the insulation performance of the roof. The roof, exterior walls and window glass of the warehouse can also be painted white to reduce the absorption of radiant heat and achieve the effect of cooling. According to the nature of the goods and the packaging, you can also pour well water, put ice cubes on the warehouse floor, and install air conditioners to cool down conditionally. Some warehouses can open windows for ventilation in the morning, evening and night, let in cold air, and close doors and windows at noon to prevent hot air from entering.

The Safe Storage of Gas Is Particularly Important in Summer
Improper storage of high-temperature gas cylinders in summer can be quite dangerous. It contains nearly 8.5 cubic meters of atmospheric gas, which is 160 times the internal volume of the cylinder. If it is not placed properly, guess what will happen? It should be noted that the storage of gas cylinders must be placed upright, not lying down.

The Correct Placement Method of the Gas Cylinder:
1. Oxygen cylinders and acetylene cylinders must not be near heat sources, electrical equipment, grease and other flammable materials;
2. When using the acetylene bottle, pay attention to fixing it to prevent it from falling. It is strictly forbidden to use it lying down. For the acetylene bottle that has been lying down, it is not allowed to use it directly. You must stand still for 15 minutes before using it, and then connect the pressure reducer. use;
3. When using, transporting and storing acetylene gas cylinders, the ambient temperature shall not exceed 40℃;
4. When placing the acetylene bottle, keep it upright and take measures to prevent it from falling. It should not be placed on insulators such as rubber;
5. The distance between the gas cylinder and the open flame is generally not less than 10 meters. The distance between the oxygen cylinder and the acetylene cylinder is greater than 5m;
6. Oxygen cylinders and acetylene cylinders should be placed and marked with a yellow line of 50mm.

Cylinders are used to store industrial gases. These gases are either flammable, explosive, toxic and harmful, and powerful. It is very difficult to "serve". Therefore, a bad cylinder tube is a time bomb!

Penalties Related to Gas Cylinders:

Case 1: On March 8, 2021, law enforcement officers of the Emergency Management Bureau of Xiaoshan District, Hangzhou, Zhejiang found a warehouse containing a large number of hazardous chemicals, including full cylinders of carbon dioxide, oxygen cylinders, acetylene cylinders, mixed gas, nitrogen and other gas cylinders totaling 176 bottle. Moreover, the warehouse is adjacent to the company's employee dormitory building. There are dozens of workers living in the dormitory building. Once an explosion occurs, the consequences will be disastrous.

Case 2: On March 9, 2021, law enforcement officers of Dongguan Dalang Emergency Management Branch conducted a random inspection of a steel processing enterprise and found that the enterprise:
1. A large number of liquefied petroleum gas cylinders and oxygen cylinders are stacked in the open air at the operation site, and they are exposed to the sun;
2. The safety distance between the staff dormitory (office) and the temporary storage point of gas cylinders (simple iron shed) is insufficient.

There is a danger of fire and explosion!

In response to the problems found during the inspection, law enforcement officers put forward rectification requirements on the spot, and issued a "Decision on On-site Treatment Measures", ordering the company to temporarily suspend production for rectification, and the operators withdraw from the work site, requiring the gas cylinders to be transferred to a safe place. Cylinders that cannot be stored safely are returned to the gas supply unit.

According to the "Amendment to the Criminal Law of the People's Republic of China (11)", the second paragraph of Article 134 of the Criminal Law is amended to read: "Forcing others to take risks in violation of regulations, or knowing that there are hidden dangers of major accidents without excluding them, still taking risks to organize operations As a result, a major casualty accident or other serious consequences shall be sentenced to fixed-term imprisonment of not more than five years or criminal detention; if the circumstances are particularly bad, a fixed-term imprisonment of not less than five years shall be imposed." One article was added after Article 134 of the Criminal Law as the first Article 134: "Whoever violates the relevant safety management regulations in production or operation, has one of the following circumstances, has the actual danger of major casualties or other serious consequences, shall be sentenced to fixed-term imprisonment of not more than one year or criminal detention Or control: Anyone who engages in mining, metal smelting, construction, and production, operation, and storage of dangerous goods, and other highly dangerous production operations without approval or permission in accordance with the law."
