01 National standard for emergency eyewash shower in China

On July 1, 2020, the national standard GB/T 38144.1-2019 "Eye and Face Protection Emergency Spray and Eye Wash Equipment Part 1: Technical Requirements" and GB/T 38144.2-2019 "Eye and Face Protection Emergency Spray and Eye Wash" Equipment Part 2: Guidelines for Use" issued. The eye/face wash products developed and produced by SYSBEL have passed the CMA testing and certification, and fully comply with the Chinese National Standard GB/T 38144.2-2019, the American National Standard ANSI Z358.1-2014 and the Australian Standard AS4775-2007.

02 The importance of emergency eyewash station

There are many dangers in the process of production, scientific research, teaching and other operations, which threaten the personal safety and health of the operators. For example, toxic and harmful substances (such as chemical liquids, etc.) are splashed on the body, face, and eyes of the staff, or a fire occurs. When the clothes are on fire, the emergency eye wash shower can temporarily slow down the further damage of harmful substances to the body, and can provide better protection for the personal safety and health of the operator. Emergency eyewash station are widely used in petroleum, chemical, semiconductor industry, pharmaceutical manufacturing and places where dangerous goods are exposed.

The main materials of the ABS emergency eyewash shower are all injection-molded by ASA engineering plastics, which have a long service life and effectively improve the product's corrosion resistance to acid, alkali, salt, and oil chemicals. It is suitable for use in environments with high acid-base concentration and strong corrosiveness. The eyewash nozzle has a built-in multi-layer filter screen, which can effectively filter impurities in the water and make the water flow into a foamy water column, effectively preventing impurities in the water or secondary damage to the injured eye nerves and injured parts due to excessive water flow.

Composite self-draining emergency eyewash shower

The Composite self-draining emergency eyewash shower is an eyewash that can automatically empty the water flow inside the eyewash. All the water in the eye washer can be emptied after use to ensure that there is no water in the eye washer and will not cause corrosion or freezing in the low temperature environment to ensure the safety and use of the eye washer.

The SYSBEL’s Combination Emergency Eyewash Shower integrates a safety shower and an emergency eye/face wash. One water source can simultaneously flush the whole body, face, and eyes with pollutants and harmful substances. The entire emergency eyewash and shower equipment fully complies with Chinese National Standard GB/T 38144.2-2019, American National Standards Institute's ANSI Z358.1-2014 and Australian Standard AS 4775-2007. The SYSBEL’s Portable emergency eyewash station is made of polyethylene material, which has the advantages of high strength, good toughness, strong rigidity, heat resistance and cold resistance. Designed in line with ergonomic principles, the water pressure is generated by the principle of gravity, and the water is transported to the two eyewash nozzles. It is suitable for work outdoors or in workplaces without water supply and drainage facilities. It can be installed and fixed on the wall as required to provide timely professional protection.

The main material of the explosion-proof electric heating emergency eyewash shower is made of 304 stainless steel, which has strong corrosion resistance to acid, alkali, salt and oil chemicals. The electrical components are all explosion-proof components, and the overall explosion-proof level can reach Exd IICT6. It will not affect its performance when used in an environment of minus 45 degrees.

The production of electric heat tracing emergency shower is based on CE-DIN12899-UN19608 standard.

SYSBEL’s emergency shower room is manufactured according to CE-DIN12899-UN19608 standard. When chemical liquids or toxic substances are splashed on the staff's body, face, eyes or fire caused the staff's clothing to catch fire, the emergency shower can quickly minimize the harm. The rubber cover configured on the nozzle of the eyewash has a protective effect, that is, it prevents people from directly touching the metal nozzle and avoids secondary damage. The entire emergency eyewash and shower equipment is fully compliant with American National Standards Institute's ANSI Z358.1-2014 Australian Standard AS 4775-2007.
