Battery Emergency Storage Series | Flexible Containment Solutions for Every Battery Type
As energy storage devices, batteries carry inherent risks throughout their lifecycle. When thermal runaway occurs, batteries can corrode, overheat, ignite, or explode. How to safely contain a battery in failure — protecting people and property — is one of the most critical challenges facing the industry today. SYSBEL's Battery Emergency Storage Series was built to answer that challenge.
The Risks Span the Entire Battery Lifecycle
During production and testing, batteries are subjected to short-circuit, overcharge, needle penetration, forced discharge, and thermal runaway tests — any of which can trigger fire or explosion. During maintenance and repair, internal or external shorts, overcharging, or insufficient anode capacity can cause temperature spikes, swelling, or electrolyte leaks that require immediate intervention. In many facilities, test bays and repair shops lack dedicated risk controls — making a contained safety solution not optional, but essential.
SYSBEL Battery Emergency Safety Storage Cabinet
Designed for the new energy vehicle sector, this cabinet provides on-site containment during battery production, assembly, testing, and maintenance. When thermal runaway or overheating occurs, batteries are immediately transferred inside — preventing combustion, corrosion, and explosion from escalating. Key features include a 5mm steel shell with explosion-relief and pressure-relief valves; real-time temperature monitoring from 0–800°C; a 2" water inlet compatible with standard fire hydrant connectors for active battery cooling; a fire-resistant borosilicate glass liquid level gauge; an internal battery bracket accommodating multiple sizes; and forklift slots for rapid relocation.

SYSBEL Battery Safe Transport & Storage Box
Built for safe storage and transport across new energy vehicles, electric vessels, power storage, photovoltaic and wind energy, consumer electronics, and power tools — covering both lithium-ion and lead-acid systems. Features include ≥2mm high-strength steel construction with ≥2.5mm load-bearing components; Class A fire-retardant insulation in internal sandwich layers; corrosion-resistant PP interior lining; a stackable, forklift-compatible design conforming to ISO 6780 pallet standards; a lid that opens to fixed positions at 88° and 120°; and pre-drilled caster mounting holes for easy mobility.

Trusted by Industry Leaders
Volkswagen Group has made multiple purchases of SYSBEL battery emergency storage cabinets for laboratory and production floor use — deploying them across facilities and reflecting sustained confidence in both product quality and long-term partnership. Tongji University integrated the SYSBEL Emergency Safety Storage Cabinet into its campus safety management system, addressing persistent battery safety risks in research environments and earning recognition from university leadership.
